Description: Participants will learn to apply correct forensic terminology to common injuries seen on vulnerable persons and better differentiate injuries more likely to be accidental in nature versus injuries from abuse and/or neglect. Using a series of case specific injury slides, forensic medical terms will be presented in a format immediately useful to guardians, administrators, direct care professionals, and investigators.
