Anna Torres

Anna was born in Adelaide, South Australia, and moved to San Antonio when she was nine years old.  She proudly maintains dual citizenship of Australia and the United States.

Graduating from the University of Dallas in 1991 with a B.A. in Philosophy, Anna earned her law degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio.  While there, she also earned an M.A. in Theology.

Anna founded Anna M. Torres & Associates, P.C. (now Anna Gordon Torres, Attorney At Law, P.C.) in 2008, after almost 15 years of legal experience.  As an attorney, she has represented clients in all types of Probate and Trust matters and prides herself on zealously representing her clients.  She has also served as a court-appointed Guardian and Ad Litem in numerous complex and contested guardianships.

Anna and her husband, Rudy, have been married for almost thirty years.  They have five children and one grandchild, and enjoy traveling to visit them all. Tracey Mather

Paralegal/Private Professional Guardian

Tracey was born in Illinois, but got to Texas as soon as she could!  She has over 30 years of legal experience, including a job with the FBI in Washington, D.C.  In her career, she has worked for several litigation and real estate law firms and now works at Anna Gordon Torres, Attorney at Law, PC.

Tracey became a Private Professional Guardian in 2016 because of the extreme need for guardians in Bexar County.  She handles much of the day-to-day work in caring for the firm’s Wards and her Wards; running errands for them, paying their bills, handling their accounting and tax issues and often, simply listening to their concerns.

She is a past president (2009-2011) of the San Antonio Junior Forum and an alumni of the North Chamber’s Leadership Lab.  She volunteered with the Under the Bridge Ministry for many years until Haven for Hope opened, and has spent many years teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and singing in the choir at University Methodist Church in San Antonio.  She also enjoys mentoring youth.

Tracey enjoys gardening, reading, listening to music, being with friends and traveling. She has four children and two grandsons, who are the light of her life.  She also has two dogs: Bonnie and Evelyn.
