Chapter 8 of the Texas Guardianship Manual provides an essential narrative on various tasks and expectations that are typically encountered in a Guardianship Administration.   This session will provide instruction on the administrative procedures a guardian must consider after the guardianship has been created.  The presenter will refer to an online version of the Texas Guardianship Manual throughout the presentation. Topics covered will include Issues involving expenditures made by a guardian of the estate, and how a guardian can request and receive compensation; Procedures required to enter into a contract on behalf of the Estate, and how to sell Estate property; How to prepare the guardian's annual account and report; and the rules governing investments of Estate assets and making gifts of Estate assets.
